Belonging can happen within yourself. In fact, this must happen alongside connecting with others, or we lose sight of ourselves and are no longer grounded here.

No matter the setting, I aim to bring my values forward and lean into listening to the needs, rhythms, and hopes for the future of yourself and/or your team.

Organizational Facilitation
Whether I am partnering with a nonprofit or small business staff team, board of directors, or local citizens organizing for justice, we work together. I do not design or prescribe solutions. Our time together will be co-designed and offer many opportunities for practicing self-reflection, team-building, expressing concerns and hopes, and non-hierarchal decision-making to create a more equitable and healthier workplace culture. This is an opportunity to design or revise working agreements, mission, vision, values, internal communications, and more!
The staff care and culture process was so valuable. I was in a time of transition and just starting my new role, and it meant so much to me to know that my new team was able to express their needs so openly. I felt like I was heard and my voice was validated. It was so honoring as a team to be honest about what we experience on the job and know that we are all working together to make tasks more sustainable. I also grew in trust of those around me from this experience, and it made me want to honor the community that is the workplace. THANK YOU ANDREA ❤️

One-to-One Coaching
While coaching content varies from client to client, every session focuses on moving you toward your goals at work or with your personal wellbeing. We meet privately to discuss your goals and implement coaching methods from my training as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Yoga Health Coach, as well as in years of giving and receiving mentorship, learning Restorative Practices and Nonviolent Communication to help you reach your goals. It helps to have a clear direction in mind, and it’s okay to use the time to process and sort through different options. At the same time, I am not a therapist! I recommend you to seek therapeutic support o bolster your mental and emotional health.
Andrea worked with me to understand my body’s digestive system and find a way of eating that allowed me to continue taking the medication I needed without trading the quality of life I found equally as important. Grounded Here gave me the tools I needed to feel capacble of listening to my body and understanding what it needed me to change.

Community Yoga
Guiding people through asana (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing – life force – practices) is such a grounding and uplifting experience for me. Witnessing students face challenges head on, trust themselves to vulnerably try new things, and surrender into rest is a true honor. My aim is to provide a flexible template for your practice with cues to support you physically, mentally, emotionally and even spiritually. The meaning of the word yoga is to yoke or to unite. This practice is an opportunity to bring together the, at times seemingly disparate, parts of oneself as well as to remember your connection with nature and all beings.
You can join me for public group classes or set up a private session for your self or a group. My practice is rooted in Hatha, Kripalu, Shadow Yoga and the wisdom of Ayurveda about seasonal and life changes. I have a playful, yet intentional approach and offer my classes to students of all levels and abilities. at times I offer opportunities for reflection in combination with movement.
I really appreciated your yoga-writing combo and I have been much more attentive to keeping warm – not getting cold…love your way!
