Gentle, all-levels yoga & walking meditation with horses!
This is a unique opportunity to practice being in your body in nature amidst these large, gentle, intuitive creatures (and other humans). Every posture will be optional, and there will be several horse specialists present to support our interaction with the horses. There will be a chair for each participant when we are in the circle. To stay warm if the day is cool, we may go on a walking meditation through the woods with the horses. We will not be on the ground or mat as the horses will be wandering around in the circle with us.
- What to bring: close-toed shoes, warm, comfortable clothes, and a water bottle.
- Parking: Try to arrive a few minutes early and enter the farm driveway nearest the Horse Time Sign. Park near the bottom of the hill.
- Accessibility: We will practice atop a small, grassy hill. WE may walk through uneven ground in the woods. If you are in a wheelchair, your driver can deliver you directly to the circle. Andy will offer modifications for postures and support all participants to show up in a way that serves themselves best.
- Cost: Sliding scale: $20 – 50. (When you click to reserve your spot you can edit the amount you pay in the bottom box.) Profits shared between instructor, Horse Time CEC and Kalamazoo Backyard Yogis (who are helping to promote).

Show & Tell
Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 6-8:30pm
🌱 Wearthland Show & Tell
We are currently looking for a host! (email andrea@groundedhere.com with ideas!!)
Join us for Wearthland’s monthly “Show & Tell” — a gathering of earth, art, and heart where we come together to share food, creativity, and meaningful connections. This is a space for community, inspiration, and the celebration of our potential for good. Bring something to share — an art piece, poem, song, or story — or simply bring your presence and an open heart.
Please bring:
- A chair or blanket for seating
- Eating utensils (bowl/plate, cup and cutlery)
- A dish for the potluck and/or a non-alcoholic beverage
Support: No contribution is required for admittance, though we encourage each guest to invest at least $1 to support future events and honor the hosts and facilitators who help preserve and uplift our community. Proceeds shared between organizers and host. Come to be inspired, to create, to share, and to reconnect — with each other, with ourselves, and with the earth we call home. Let’s make something beautiful, together. 🌍💛
