Sprouted Mung Beans

Sprouted Mung Beans:

  • Scoop 1/4-1/2 cup dry mung beans in a mason jar
  • Cover beans with cool filtered water
  • Leave sit 24 hours
  • Strain water
  • Place cheese cloth over top of jar (or fancy sprouting lid)
  • Daily rinse & strain beans until sprouted (about 3 days)
  • Top on your salad or cook with basmati rice for a cleansing Kitchari
